Minimum equipment Mandatory equipment for the Grossglockner Ultra-Trail distances
The races mainly take place in high alpine terrain. Therefore, every participant is required to carry the mandatory equipment. The organiser may also specify additional items of equipment as mandatory.
Partial autonomy applies to GGUT, OTT, GGT, GWT and KST competitions. There are supply stations with drinks and/or food along the route. When leaving a supply station, each participant is responsible for carrying sufficient fluids and food until the next supply station. In addition, there are other points along the route where water can be refilled.
