Berghotel Rudolfshütte *** in the Weissee Glacier World
The 3-star Berghotel Rudolfshütte is situated in a quiet location, far away from noise and stress, and is accessible only by cable car in the Weißsee Glacier World at an amazing 2,315 metres above sea level. This unique mountain hotel offers high alpine hut flair, traditional cuisine, and relaxation at the Edelweiss SPA with magnificent views of the surrounding three-thousand-metre-high peaks.
GGUT tip: Altitude adjustment: GGUT routes lead over an average altitude of 2,000 metres, and even higher over long distances. Spend a few days at the Berghotel Rudolfshütte before the race and start your adventure perfectly acclimatised.
The Weißsee Glacier World cable car departs at 7.15 am on Friday, 24 July 2026. Participants of the GWT can take the cable car from the hotel to the starting point. The ascent to the Berghotel Rudolfshütte by cable car on Friday after the race is possible until 5 pm.

Ponyhof Holiday Village
The 4-star Ponyhof Holiday Village is located in Fusch at the foot of the Großglockner, in the heart of the Salzburg Alps. With its family atmosphere, the hotel combines relaxation, active holidays and regional cuisine – ideal for athletes and families.
The spacious wellness area with Swiss stone pine sauna, organic herbal sauna, Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and cosy relaxation rooms ensures optimal regeneration after active days. Indoor and outdoor pools with whirlpool function and a fitness room complete the offer.
Culinary delights await guests in the form of a breakfast buffet with products from the hotel's own farm and a 3-course menu of your choice in the evening with fresh salads, vegetarian dishes and Ponyhof spring water.
A special highlight is the hotel's own Ponyhofalm at 1,400 m (approx. 2 hours' walk), open from the end of May to the beginning of September – a popular destination for hikers, mountain bikers and e-bikers.
